A resident Akyem Asikam in the Abuakwa South Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region. He was born on the 11th September, 1937. His parents who were both farmers enrolled him into school where he obtained his middle school leaving certificate in 1955. He is married with Six (6) children, four males (4) and two (2) females.
He formerly worked with Guinea Press now Ghanaian Times from 1960 to 1983, he retired and ventured into
farming the same year. While in active service at Ghanaian Times, in 1,966-69 Akim Odo as District Manager,1969-71 Cape Coast as Regional Manager and from !974-77 to Kumasi as Regional Manger. Before retirement he was Assistant Circulation Manager at Head Office-Accra.
From 1988 to 1992, he was the society Treasurer for P. B. C. at Kyebi and its environs. In the year 2000 till date he became the Chief Farmer for Cocoa in East Akim and also a member for Cocoa, Coffee and Shea Nuts Association for Eastern Region which he is now on Executive Member. He owns 36 Acres of Cocoa Farm, 6 Acres of Coconut plantation which is still ongoing, 4 Acres of Oil palm plantation, local binds and livestock sheep.
